Strobing, Highlighting, … call it what you will, it is the beauty trend that won’t die – and for good reason.
Highlighters are everywhere these days and if you manage to get your hands on a great formula, they can make you look amazing. On Karin from Innen und Aussen‘s recommendation, I picked up the Artdeco Strobing Powder and after using it a few times, I can assure you that it is one of those great ones.
For pale people especially, this is a gorgeous highlighting option. The pale pink shade is pretty unassuming in the pan but once applied, it develops a beautiful golden, almost mother of pearl sheen that makes you look glowy without being shimmery or glittery. The formula is soft and blendable and reminds me a little bit of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors.
I don’t have much experience with the Artdeco range, but I love the pick and mix approach to their collection. You can pop out the pan and refill the compact, which is wonderful in terms of waste reduction. Their smaller powders and eyeshadows are the same, so you could technically fill up any palette with your favorite Artdeco shades.
If you can get your hands on this strobing powder (and their whole strobing range), make sure you pick this gem up. For me, it is the easiest way to a perfect summer glow.
